The Combat Ju-Jitsu British Championships, sanctioned by COMBUDO, ( Combat Budo Organisation C.B.O ).

Official Unified Combat Ju Jitsu Rules (Amateur Budo MMA in a Gi and on Tatami Mats) available via website: https://combudo.org/combat-ju-jitsu-rules/

CJJ rules : Striking & Takedowns & Submissions ( no elbows or knee to the head ) with 3 Categories ( C-B-A Class ), in line with Unified-Amateur-Rules of MMA.

CJJ is in effect ‘Amateur MMA’, but wearing a Gi and on the Tatami mat.

8oz MMA Sparring Gloves and Cotton Shin-&-Instep guards.

Amateur Criteria : Amateur level fighters only. 
If you have fought in a full-contact Striking bout, ( Muay-Thai / K1 / MMA ), without Shin protection ( Shin Guards ), then under C.B.O. criteria you are a Professional fighter and cannot enter this event.

1 x 3 min round. 
If a draw, 2 min overtime round.
( Max fight time is 5 mins in total ).

If a draw, Scales ( lightest fighter wins )

If same weight, then Age, ( youngest fighter wins – unless in Masters division – oldest fighter wins )

Combat Ju-Jitsu seminar

The next Combat Ju-Jitsu Masterclass seminar with Hanshi Lee Hasdell, 9th Dan, will be on

Saturday 2nd December 2023

at the Okami-Dojo / Wolf-Gym

in Warrington, Cheshire, WA4 1AY. 

 The seminar will include opportunities for participants to also Pressure-Test with Kakuto (Combat) Micro-Fights. The 30 second ‘Micro-Fights’, are very empowering and give a student a deep sense of personal achievement and confidence. 

 The Hasdell seminar will conclude with the 10 round ‘Kumite-Challenge’ for those testing for their CJJ Shodan promotion. CJJ, Combat-Ju-Jitsu, specialises in realistic Combative’s (Self-Defence) methods. Strikes & Submissions, including Zutsuki (Headbutt) during Newaza (Ground-Fighting).

Combat Ju-Jitsu seminar

The next Combat Ju-Jitsu seminar with Dai-Shihan Lee Hasdell, will be held on

Saturday 20th May 2023

at the Okami-Dojo / Wolf-Gym in Warrington, Cheshire, WA4 1AY.

The seminar will be conducted over two hours, with 90 minutes training on Combative’s Skills and then 30 minutes allocated to Pressure-Testing.

There will also be Shodan testing, (10 man Kumite), for those that are eligible.

Combat Ju-Jitsu features extensive use of Zutsuki (Tactical Head-Butt) and Shotei (Open-Palm Striking).

CJJ is a Modern, practical Combative’s system, with traditional budo values.

Techniques include Striking, Takedowns and Submissions.
